Tropical Jungle



Objectives

  • Bring plenty of recovery items
  • Bring a Rain Plant if you have one

    Betamon
    The first and probably easiest recruitment in the Tropical Jungle is Betamon. Betamon can be located by passing a small bridge in the far east of Tropical Jungle which is right next to an item computer containing a medium recovery. After you cross the bridge go upwards instead of going to the right. Keep heading north and you should find a darker colored ModokiBetamon sitting idle in a corner.

    After finding him all you need to do is walk up next to him and he should start talking to you. Apparently after smelling you he was reminded of the city. As luck would have it he never really wanted to leave the city; he only did so because something or someone scared him off. Once he joins the city he will help out Coelamon at the item shop bringing the items medium recovery, various, and the greatly appreciated auto pilot.


    Centarumon
    If you keep heading to the right at the small bridge area in the east you'll find yourself in the Mangrove Region. Head north from there and you will enter into Centarumon's area, Amida Forest. He doesn't like trespassers so you'll have to sneak through the forest to avoid getting shot. The goal is to get to the very back of the forest where there are three doors; two marked with an "X" and one marked with an "O". If you run right up next to the hedges throughout the forest Centarumon will have trouble spotting you. Feed your Digimon recoveries if his HP gets low or you will have to start over.

    After you find the door marked with an "O" Centarumon will open the door to the Ancient Dino Region and tell you he was only testing you. He will join the city and build a clinic. If you need to rest your Digimon, if your Digimon gets wounded or sick, or if you need medicine he's your man.
